I made a brand new purse today with a pattern from a library book. Here's how it turned out!
This is how my room looked at the very beginning when I started.
A shot of me cutting the outside fabric!
The lining of the purse laid out on the grid after cutting.
All the pieces of the purse laid out before sewing. A liner, a liner pocket, an outside pocket, strap, and the actual bag itself!
The purse open and all sewed together, after multiple frustrating stitch rip-outs and issues! But maybe the next time I'll be better. It still looks good in the end!
Here's a picture of the inside. On the left, back section of the purse there is a small pocket. No other pockets on the inside here!
A picture of the front pocket on the purse.
And the last picture of me modeling it so you can all see how it looks!
How do you guys think I did?

Very nice Becca. Like the material and color. Glad you are sewing.
I love it!! Your wearing the shirt I gave you...mine is a little small. I will need to make new ones :-) Maybe we could do something like that when I sleep over. That would be a lot of fun!
p.s. what do you have on your window????
Nice job Becca!!! How long did it take to make it?? Approx.??
Thanks everyone! Sarah, that would be fun, and I have a special window cling on my window so people can't stare at me. Lol! Aunt Tammy, it took about 2-3 hours.
